Learning how to sing exciting

repertoire including pop, musicals, Disney and gospel whilst gaining a basic understanding of breathing, pitch, rhythm and melody.

Improving speech, listening and confidence skills.

DRAMA

Exploring text, movement and

playing games to aid focus, concentration and discipline.

Examining plays, poems, short stories, novels, films, improvising

and devising. Building confidence, speaking and listening skills, and working as a team.

MUSICAL THEATRE

Combining the work we do in dance, drama and singing, working on popular musicals and learning how to link text to song.

Opportunities to work individually and as a group. Also starting to learn how to act through song.

DANCE

We offer classes in ballet, jazz,

street, contemporary, tap, modern

and breakdancing. Dancing to our favourite songs, and also learning about other cultures of dance. An exciting form of exercise,

encouraging discipline and

expression.

"Since we began with Stars Performing Arts Clubs, our drama club has proven to be our most popular club.

The children thoroughly enjoy it and the parents are always excited to see the performance at the end of all the sessions.

It also provides an avenue for the children to increase their confidence and public speaking skills from an early age in a fun, entertaining environment. We have also found it to beneficial for the older children with respect to the ESB examinations.
